Managing Humidity in Your RV
RVs are prone to high humidity due to small, enclosed spaces and human activities like cooking, showering, and breathing. Too much moisture causes mold, mildew, musty odors, and condensation damage.
Ideal Humidity Range
- 40-50% RH: Ideal for comfort and preventing mold.
- Below 30%: Too dry—causes dry skin, static, and cracked wood.

How to Reduce Humidity
- Ventilate: Open windows/vents while cooking or showering. Use roof vent fans to exhaust humid air.
